ABOUT AMBER ZIERATH

I live in Canada near the Rocky Mountains surrounded by nature. 

My house is always busy with 3 kiddos, my dog, and the horses (technically they don't live in my house).

I am obsessed with horses. As a member of an equine facility that is home to a herd of sixty, I care for and feed horses daily. Also, I assist with weekly lessons where beginners learn to ride. I ride an array of different horses frequently and always bareback.

I love stories of all forms: written word, music and song, film and television, theater, dance and art pieces. 

I've been conjuring up stories for as long as I can remember. My father still has something I wrote when I was six-years-old - it is a single page about orange soda and quite riveting.

I'm totally hooked on black tea - especially when I'm writing or editing. 

I'll read books from many different genres - I'm just keen to immerse myself into a good story. 

I'm always asked who my favorite authors are - that's an impossible question for me to answer! There are far too many writers I admire. 

I'm keen on traveling to as many different places as possible within my lifetime - there is so much to experience in this world.
